Academix Dynamic Attendance
Take Attendance in Seconds, In Class or Online
The Academix gives teachers two ways to take attendance: mark the roster on web or mobile, or let students scan the class QR code in the app. Every mark lands in one record per student.
Book a demo
Calling a roll eats into class time, and a paper register has to be typed up later. The Academix lets students mark themselves present by scanning the class QR code in the app, so a room fills its own register as students arrive.
Teachers can also mark attendance themselves on web or mobile, including bulk-marking a whole roster in one action when scanning isn't practical. For live online sessions, the teacher marks attendance.
QR scan or teacher entry, every mark lands in the same record for that session, and attendance reports show it per student and per class.
Two Ways to Mark Attendance
Students scan the class QR code in the app, or teachers mark the roster themselves on web or mobile. For live online sessions, the teacher marks attendance.
Monitoring
Attendance reports per student and per class show who is missing sessions, and a low-attendance alert can go to chosen staff in the daily early-warning email.
One Record per Student per Session
Every mark, whether from a QR scan or the teacher's roster, is stored in the same attendance record, so there is no second register to reconcile.
Students See Their Own Attendance
Students check their attendance history in the app, with a percentage on their dashboard, and parents on the parent portal see it too.
Set Up per Classroom
Each classroom chooses whether the tutor marks attendance or students self-mark by QR, and whether it is recorded once a day or per subject.
How Attendance Gets Marked
Students Scan the Class QR Code
A student opens the scanner in the app and scans the class QR code to mark themselves present. The QR code on the teacher's screen refreshes every 30 seconds, so a photo of an old code doesn't work.
Or a Teacher Marks the Roster
On web or mobile, a teacher marks students present or absent, or bulk-marks the whole roster in one action.
Every Record Lands in the Same Place
Scan or teacher entry, each mark is stored as one present or absent record per student per session.
Students and Staff See the History
Students see their history on an attendance screen and a percentage on their dashboard. Staff get attendance reports per student and per class.
Where Attendance Integrity Matters Most
Competitive Exam Centers
Large batches fill the register faster when students scan the class QR code themselves, and low-attendance alerts flag who is slipping.
Schools & Colleges
Daily attendance across many sections adds up fast. Bulk-marking a full roster in one action beats scanning every student individually when a period is short and the class is large.
Training Institutions
With several batches running at once, QR self-marking and per-class reports keep attendance current without a staff member typing up registers.
How Can We Help You?
Yes. Bulk-marking the full roster in one action sits alongside QR scanning, and both write to the same record.

The teacher marks it. Attendance is marked by teachers on web or mobile or by students scanning the QR code; there is no photo, face or location check.
Yes. Students have an attendance screen and a percentage on their dashboard, and parents can see it on the parent portal.
No. Each classroom chooses tutor-controlled or student-controlled marking and day-wise or subject-wise recording. See the Student Attendance Tracking page for details.
