Academix Online Live Classes Integration
Live Classes on Google Meet or Your Own BigBlueButton
The Academix runs live classes and webinars on Google Meet or on your institute's own BigBlueButton server. Connect once, schedule a class, and the meeting is ready for students to join from the app or student portal.
Book a demo
Many classroom platforms pick one video engine and build everything around it, which works until your tutors are already trained on something else. The Academix supports two providers that cover most institutes: Google Meet, for teachers who already use Google, and BigBlueButton, for institutes that run their own video server.
Each is set up once. With Google Meet, a teacher connects their Google account one time; after that, every class they schedule gets a Meet link created automatically on their Google Calendar. With BigBlueButton, the institute saves its server URL and secret once, and every class after that reuses them.
Students don't need to hunt for a link in a chat group or create an account with the video provider. They open the class from The Academix app or student portal and join.
Google Meet or BigBlueButton
Pick the provider when you schedule a class. Keep the tool your teachers already know instead of forcing everyone onto one platform.
Teachers Start From Their Class List
Teachers sign in and pick from their scheduled online classes, so starting a live session takes a click instead of a search for the right link.
Reschedule Without Recreating
Move a scheduled class to a new time and it stays the same class. For Google Meet classes, the change updates the event on the teacher's Google Calendar.
How Live Classes Get Set Up
Connect a Provider Once
A teacher connects their Google account once for Google Meet, or an admin saves the institute's BigBlueButton server URL and secret once. Nobody signs in again for each class.
Schedule the Class and Pick the Provider
Choose the provider alongside the class, subject and time slot. For Google Meet, the Meet link is created on the teacher's Google Calendar automatically.
Students Join From the App or Portal
Students open the class in The Academix instead of searching a group chat for a link, on mobile or on the web.
Move a Class Without Breaking It
Reschedule a class directly instead of cancelling and recreating it, so the class record and roster stay intact.
Mark Attendance
Joining the call doesn't mark a student present. The teacher marks attendance for the session on web or mobile.
Where Provider Choice Matters Most
Spoken English & Language Institutes
Live conversation is the whole point of the class, so a video tool tutors already trust matters more here than almost anywhere else.
Schools & Colleges
Schools already on Google for email and documents can run classes on Google Meet, with links created on each teacher's calendar.
Training Institutions
Institutes running many concurrent batches on their own BigBlueButton server save the credentials once and reuse them for every session.
How Can We Help You?
Live classes run on Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server.
No. The teacher connects their Google account once. After that, The Academix creates the Meet link on the teacher's Google Calendar automatically whenever they schedule a class.
Google Meet suits institutes whose teachers already use Google and don't want to run a video server. BigBlueButton suits institutes that host their own server and want every class on it; the URL and secret are saved once and reused.
No. For online sessions, the teacher marks attendance on web or mobile, the same way as for an in-person class.
No. Recording isn't automatic. A BigBlueButton session's recording can be reopened through its link after the class.
No. Rescheduling updates the existing class instead of creating a new one, so students join it the same way after the time changes.
