Academix Mobile App
One App for Students, Tutors and Owners
The Academix app on Android and iPhone covers students, tutors and institute owners in one install. Tutors run classes from it, students learn from it, and each person lands on the screens built for their role when they sign in with the account your institute set up.
Get It On Google Play
Many institutes end up handing out separate apps for teachers and students, each with its own store listing and its own instructions. The Academix takes a simpler approach: students, tutors and institute owners all install the same app from the same listing on Google Play or the App Store. There is one thing to tell a new user to download.
What each person sees depends on their role. When someone signs in, the app opens a different starting screen and menu for that role. A tutor lands on tools for running a class: marking attendance, starting a live session, uploading a lecture. A student lands on their own coursework: lectures to watch, tests to take, their attendance and results.
Staff sign in on the web panel and, on Android, in the app; roles and permissions control what each staff member can see and do across branches. Parents follow their child's progress in the web parent portal.
Live Classes From the Phone
Students and tutors join scheduled live classes from the app. Live classes run on Google Meet or your institute's own BigBlueButton server.
Lectures, Tests, and Study Material in One Place
Students watch lectures, take mock tests and quizzes, and open study material from the e-library without switching apps. Tutors upload lecture videos, build question banks and assign practice tests from the same app.
Attendance, Assignments and Push Notifications
Tutors mark attendance for a physical or online class, and students can self-mark by scanning the class QR code. Students submit assignments in the app, and notices, new assessments and new assignments arrive instantly as push notifications.
Certificates, Results, and Progress Tracking
Students see the certificates their institute issues, result reports broken down by subject and topic, and a calendar with holidays and live classes on one screen.
A Different Home Screen for Each Role
The app checks the role on the account that signs in. Tutors land on class-running tools, students on their own coursework, and institute owners on their institute.
How the App Works, Role by Role
Install the App and Sign In
Download The Academix from Google Play or the App Store and sign in with the account your institute set up. The account ties the app to your institute and your role in it.
Land on the Screens Built for Your Role
Tutors see class-running tools front and centre, students see their own coursework, and institute owners see their institute.
Join Live Classes
Live classes run on Google Meet or your institute's own BigBlueButton server, and students and tutors join them from the app.
Get to Lectures, Tests, and the E-Library Without Switching Apps
Students watch lectures, take quizzes and mock tests, and open study material from the same app they use to join a live class. Tutors upload lecture videos, build question banks and assign tests without a separate desktop tool.
Who Uses the App Day to Day
Teachers
One login runs a live class, marks attendance, uploads a lecture and builds a test, so a tutor's class-running work fits on a phone between classes.
Students & Parents
Students join live classes, rewatch lectures, take tests and check results from their own dashboard. Parents follow along in the web parent portal.
Tuition & Coaching Classes
A solo tutor gets the same app, live-class tools and lecture and test setup as a much larger institute.
How Can We Help You?
Students, tutors and institute owners. Staff sign in on the web panel and, on Android, in the app; roles and permissions control what each staff member can see.
No. There are no payments in the app. Students buy courses on your institute's course storefront and pay through Razorpay.
Live classes run on Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server.
No. Recording is not automatic for either provider.
No. One app covers every role it supports. What a user sees after signing in depends on the role on their account, not on which app they installed.
Tutors mark attendance, start live sessions, upload lecture videos and build question banks and tests. Students join classes, watch lectures, take tests, submit assignments and check their own attendance, results and certificates. The split comes from the account's role.
