What's new in The Academix
Features that have reached production, with the date each one went live. Some are switched on by the institute in its settings, and app changes need the latest version of The Academix app.

Encrypted offline lectures on Android
Android app 1.0.10 lets students save lectures to watch without a connection, in classes where the institute allows downloads. Saved lectures stay encrypted, play only inside the app and are removed when the student logs out.

Push notifications arrive instantly
Notices, tests and assignments now reach students' phones as soon as they are published, instead of waiting for the next scheduled send. Email and the in-app bell still carry the same message.
Student notificationsParents
Parent portal
Parents sign in at parents.theacademix.com to see their child's attendance, results, assignments, notices and schedule, with a weekly digest email every Sunday. Read-only, web-only, and switched on by the institute.
Parent portalEarly warning
Early-warning alerts
Turn on alerts for low attendance, a score decline, a test not attempted and an overdue intervention. A daily 7am email goes to the staff you choose, and to parents if you switch that on.
Early-warning alertsExam analytics
Performance summary on every result
Test results now carry a topic-by-topic evaluation, the trend across recent tests and a short list of what to work on next, for the student and for the teacher.
