Academix For Spoken English Institutes
Built For Institutes That Teach Speaking, Not Just Reading
A spoken English class lives or dies on live interaction. A recorded video can explain grammar, but it can't correct a student's pronunciation in the moment. The Academix runs live sessions on Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server, keeps batches small enough for every student to get speaking time, and tracks each student's level from Beginner through Advanced instead of one flat course.
Book a demo
The Academix keeps spoken English coaching centered on live conversation instead of pre-recorded material alone: live class scheduling, small batches, level-wise classrooms, and a Doubts & Discussion feed where students keep practicing between sessions.
Live Sessions On Google Meet Or BigBlueButton
Trainers connect Google once and each class gets its Meet link automatically, or the institute runs classes on its own BigBlueButton server.
Batches Sized For Actual Speaking Time
Run each level and time slot as its own small classroom, so every student gets called on during a session instead of sitting through an hour without saying a word.
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Kept Separate
Structure Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced batches as their own classrooms with their own pace, instead of teaching one group at three different levels at once.
Practice Continues After The Class Ends
The Doubts & Discussion feed lets students post questions or practice sentences between live sessions, with trainers replying instead of waiting for the next class.
What Actually Gets In The Way Of Teaching Speaking
Moving A Student Up A Level Is A Judgment Call, Not A Test Score
Speaking ability doesn't reduce to a right-or-wrong answer sheet the way grammar does. Deciding a student is ready to move from Beginner to Intermediate rests on a trainer's read of their participation and submitted exercises over time, not an automated proficiency score.
One Missing Student Changes The Whole Session
A partner-based speaking drill built for eight people doesn't work with seven and an odd one out. In a batch that small, attendance decides whether a session runs as planned. A low-attendance alert flags a student who keeps missing sessions so a trainer can follow up early.
Feedback Between Classes Can't Wait For The Next Live Session
A nervous beginner who wants to know whether a sentence they wrote was right shouldn't sit on the question for days until the next class. Somewhere for that question to land, and for a trainer to answer it on their own time, matters almost as much as the live session itself.
Parents Of Teenage Learners Want To See Progress
Spoken English batches often include teenagers whose parents pay and want to check in. The parent portal gives them a read-only web login with attendance, test results, assignments, notices and class schedule, and a digest email every Sunday evening.
What Spoken English Institutes Get
Built around speaking practice and level progression, not a fixed video curriculum.
Progress Tracked By Level, Not Just By Course
Move a student from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced as their speaking improves, with their attendance and test history staying on one student record.
Live Interaction Stays The Default
Video content sits alongside live sessions, but scheduling is built around the recurring live class, since spoken English improves through conversation more than through watching a recording.
Add Batches Without Losing The Small-Group Feel
Open a new batch for a new level or time slot without merging students into a larger existing group, so class size stays consistent as enrollment grows.
Direct Feedback On Spoken Practice Assignments
Trainers annotate submitted speaking or writing exercises directly, giving students specific correction instead of a single overall grade.
What A Trainer's Day Actually Looks Like
The real screens a spoken English trainer touches between one live batch and the next.
Morning
Run The First Live Batch Of The Day
The Beginner batch joins on Google Meet or the institute's BigBlueButton server for a session built around speaking, not watching a lecture.
Right After Class
Mark Attendance While The Room's Still Fresh
In a batch of eight, the trainer already knows who was there. Tutor-controlled marking fits a small class better than self check-in, so attendance gets marked from the classroom screen straight after the session.
Midday
Answer What's Waiting On The Discussion Feed
Between live sessions, students post practice sentences or questions on the Doubts & Discussion feed. The trainer replies on their own schedule, and the answer stays with that question for the next student with the same doubt.
Before Deciding On A Level Move
Check A Student's Attendance And Session History
Before moving a student from Intermediate to Advanced, the trainer checks their attendance record and prior session history rather than going purely on a gut feeling from the last class.
Which Feature Solves Which Problem
Live Class Video Integration
Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server, set up once and used for every live speaking session.
Real-Time Communication
The Doubts & Discussion feed and notices behind between-class practice, so a question posted after Tuesday's session gets answered before Thursday's class.
Student Attendance Tracking
Tutor-controlled or student-controlled marking, set per classroom, so a small speaking batch and a large class don't have to use the same workflow.
Classroom & Student Analytics
Attendance, test results and an early-warning tag per student, part of what a trainer checks before deciding a student is ready for the next level.
Affordable LMS in India
What an LMS really costs an Indian institute once the app, hosting, setup and support are counted.

The whole platform in one tour: teaching, testing, running the institute and keeping parents informed.
How Can We Help You?
No. Live classes run on Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server.
No. There's no automated pronunciation scoring, speech-recognition grading or accent analysis. Trainers give feedback by annotating each submitted exercise.
It's the trainer's call, not an automated placement test. Attendance and test history stay on the student's record as they move from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced, and the trainer decides when they're ready.
Not automatically. Live classes aren't recorded by default, so a trainer who wants a session available for catch-up uploads the recording to the course's lecture library afterwards.
Attendance mode is set per classroom. A small batch usually works best with tutor-controlled marking, where the trainer marks the roster or shows a QR code. A larger class can use student-controlled marking, where students mark themselves by scanning the class QR code in the app.
