The Academix Question Bank

One Question Bank for Every Test and Practice Quiz

The Academix question bank stores an institute's questions by subject, chapter and topic, with difficulty, tags and an optional worked solution on each. Questions can be typed in, imported from an Excel sheet, or pulled out of an uploaded or scanned question paper by AI for a teacher to check. Tests and student practice quizzes draw from the same bank.

Most coaching institutes already own thousands of questions. They sit in Word files, old printed test papers and a senior teacher's Excel sheet. The question bank brings them into one place, organised by the same subject, chapter and topic structure your courses use, so a teacher building Sunday's test can filter by topic and difficulty instead of retyping.

Getting questions in is the slow part, so there are three ways to do it. Type a single question into the form. Import hundreds at once from Excel using the sample sheet. Or upload a PDF or photo of a question paper and let AI pull out the questions, options and answers as editable cards; nothing is saved until a teacher has checked them and pressed Add Questions.

What the question bank does not do: AI extraction is not saved without review, and it can misread a paper, so a teacher checks every card; there is no assertion-reason question type and no numeric-range answer type; numerical answers use a fixed answer; tags are shown on each question but cannot yet be used as a filter; students build practice quizzes on the web portal; the mobile app does not have the practice quiz builder; AI extraction has a daily usage limit per institute.

Every plan includes the question bank; how many questions you can store depends on the plan. Plans start from ₹1,500/month; the final price is quoted to your requirements.

1

Subject, Chapter and Topic

Questions are filed under a course, subject and topic, and topics can be grouped into chapters. The same structure drives the topic and chapter reports students see after a test.

2

Difficulty and Tags

Each question can be marked Easy, Medium or Hard, and the question list filters by difficulty. Tags let you label questions your own way, such as by source or year.

3

The Question Types Coaching Tests Use

Multiple choice with one or more correct answers, true or false, fill in the blank (single or multiple), match the following, fixed answer, written answer and file-upload answers. A question can also be a picture of the question itself.

4

Excel Bulk Upload

Download the sample Excel sheet, fill it in and import it. Rows are checked and duplicates flagged before anything is added, and each question can carry its negative marks.

5

AI Extraction From a Question Paper

Upload a PDF, JPG or PNG of a printed or scanned paper. AI reads it and returns each question with its options and answer as an editable card for a teacher to correct before saving. A single question's solution can also be drafted with AI.

6

More Than One Language

A question can have versions in more than one language, added from the same question, so a bilingual batch uses one bank.

From Question Paper to Practice Quiz

1

Set Up Subjects, Chapters and Topics

Add the subjects for a course, then its topics, and group topics into chapters if you want chapter-level reports.

2

Bring Your Questions In

Type them, import an Excel sheet, or upload a question paper for AI extraction and review the cards before adding them.

3

Build Tests From the Bank

When creating a test, pick questions by hand, or use an automated pool that draws questions at random from rules you set by topic, question type and difficulty, so a random real test can be balanced across Easy, Medium and Hard.

4

Decide What Students Can Practise

Questions you have used in a real test are held back from practice, so exam questions stay unseen. To release them, approve a whole topic or single questions in the class's Practice Pool.

5

Students Build Their Own Practice Quizzes

In the Practice Quiz Builder on the student portal, a student picks a subject and topics, the question type, difficulty, number of questions, marks per question and negative marks, then generates the quiz.

How Can We Help You?

Yes, download the sample Excel sheet, fill it in and import it from the Import Question screen.

Want to see AI extraction on a real paper?

On a demo call we can run a sample question paper through AI extraction on a demo institute and show you the review step.
