The Academix Early-Warning Alerts

Spot the Students Who Are Slipping, Before the Big Test

Early-warning alerts in The Academix tag each student On Track, Needs Attention or High Risk from five things the platform already records: test scores, attendance, test participation, lecture completion and recent activity. Staff can set email alerts for low attendance, falling scores, missed tests and overdue follow-ups. A person decides what to do next.

In a batch of two hundred, the student who stopped attending three weeks ago is easy to miss until the next full mock test. The Academix already holds the signals that would have shown it: attendance marks, test attempts, scores and lecture views. Early-warning alerts put those signals into one tag per student and an email to the people who can act, so a teacher hears about the problem while there is still time to help.

The tag is a weighted score, not a guess. Over the last 90 days, test scores count for 30%, attendance 25%, tests attempted out of tests released 25%, lecture completion 10% and recent activity 10%. A total of 70 or more is On Track, 40 to 69 is Needs Attention and below 40 is High Risk. If a signal has no data, it is left out and the others are scaled up. Next to each tag the panel says why, for example "Attendance 62%" or "Missed 3 of 5 tests".

What early-warning alerts do not do: it does not predict dropouts and uses no AI model; tags come from fixed, published rules; the On Track / Needs Attention / High Risk cut-offs are the same for every institute; alert settings apply to the whole institute, not class by class; alerts go by email only, with no SMS, WhatsApp or push; staff cannot open an intervention by hand; alerts open them and staff resolve them.

Early-warning alerts are available on every plan. Plans start from ₹1,500/month; the final price is quoted to your requirements.

1

A Risk Tag on Every Student

The class student list in the institute panel shows each student as On Track, Needs Attention or High Risk, with the reasons behind the tag. Students with too little data show No Data instead of a guess.

2

A Performance Summary on Each Test Result

Each student's test result carries a Performance Summary built from their last five tests of that type: an overall level, what changed compared with the class average, the weakest topics, and a "What to do next" list. Students see the same summary in their own portal.

3

Four Alerts You Configure

Low attendance, score decline, test not attempted and overdue intervention. Each one is switched on separately and given its own limit, such as an attendance percentage or a number of days.

4

A Morning Email to the Right People

Alerts are checked every day at 7am IST and emailed to the teachers, staff or owner you choose. A student triggers each alert at most once every seven days, so nobody's inbox floods.

5

Parents Copied Only If You Choose

Each alert has an "Also notify the student's parents" switch. When it is on, the email also goes to the parents linked to that student in the parent portal.

6

Interventions You Close Out

An attendance, score-decline or missed-test alert opens an intervention. Staff see the open list with the student, class, reason and days open, and press Resolve once someone has followed up. If one stays open too long, the overdue alert fires.

How Early-Warning Alerts Work Day to Day

1

Tags Appear Without Any Setup

Risk tags and Performance Summaries are worked out from data the institute already records. There is nothing to switch on for them.

2

The Owner Turns On the Alerts

In Settings, under Alerts, the owner switches on the alert types they want, sets each limit and picks who receives the email. Every alert is off until someone turns it on.

3

The Platform Checks Every Morning

At 7am IST the platform checks every student against the alerts that are on. Yesterday's attendance is finalised at 6am first, so the check sees a complete day.

4

A Teacher Follows Up

The email names the student, what was seen and a suggested next step, such as a one-to-one conversation or a make-up test. The decision and the conversation stay with your staff.

5

Staff Resolve the Intervention

Once someone has acted, they resolve the intervention in the Open interventions list. Anything left open past the institute's limit triggers the overdue alert.

How Can We Help You?

No, it tags students from fixed rules over scores, attendance, test participation, lecture completion and recent activity, and a person decides what to do.

Want to see the alerts on a real class?

We can show you the risk tags, a Performance Summary and the alert settings on a demo institute, and talk through which limits suit your batches.
