Academix Virtual Classrooms
A Classroom for Every Course and Branch
Virtual classrooms let tutors and admins set up a dedicated space for each course in each branch, with the right students, the right tutor, the subjects being taught and a weekly schedule. Students join with an institute-issued class code.
Book a demo
A virtual classroom in The Academix isn't a meeting link reused every week. It's a dedicated setup for one course in one branch, the same way a physical room is assigned to one section. A school running five sections of Grade 9 Science ends up with five classrooms, not one room hosting five rosters through the same link.
Inside the classroom is a roster (the students enrolled in that course and branch, plus the assigned tutor) and the subjects being taught. Attaching a subject gives students its materials and resources inside the room. Which video tool the class runs on, Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server, is a separate layer covered on the Online Live Classes Integration page.
Each classroom also has a weekly schedule, so tutors and students know when it meets. Turning that into a recurring batch and rescheduling individual sessions is covered on the Run Live Batches Online page. Once a classroom is set up, students join it the same way every time, with an institute-issued class code.
Dedicated Classroom Setup
Create a classroom for a specific course in a specific branch, so each section has its own space instead of sharing one catch-all room.
Roster Management
Add the enrolled students and assign the tutor, so the classroom holds exactly the people who belong in it.
Subject Integration
Attach subjects directly to the classroom, giving students access to each subject's materials and resources inside the room they're already in.
Structured Teaching Schedule
Set the times during the week the classroom runs, so tutors and students have a regular rhythm to plan around.
How a Virtual Classroom Gets Set Up
Create the Classroom for a Course and Branch
A classroom is created for one course in one branch, before a roster, subject or schedule is attached.
Add Students and Assign the Tutor
Enrolled students go on the roster and a tutor is assigned. The roster is the students enrolled in that course, not everyone in the branch.
Attach the Subjects Being Taught
Add subjects directly to the classroom, giving students access to each subject's materials and resources.
Set the Weekly Schedule
Set the times during the week the classroom runs. Recurring batches and session-by-session scheduling are covered on the Run Live Batches Online page.
Students Join With a Class Code
Students join the classroom with a class code issued by the institute, instead of looking for a fresh link in a chat group each session.
Where Classroom Setup Matters Most
Schools & Colleges
Schools and colleges run many sections and subjects at once. A classroom per course and branch keeps every section's roster, tutor and subjects separate.
Training Institutions
Several concurrent batches mean several rosters and tutors. A classroom per programme keeps one programme's setup from bleeding into another's.
College LMS
Colleges organize by department and subject. A classroom built around one course's subjects and roster fits many small, specific classes.
How Can We Help You?
No. The classroom is set up in The Academix for one course and branch, with a roster, a tutor and subjects attached. The video call runs on Google Meet or your own BigBlueButton server, covered on the Online Live Classes Integration page.
The students enrolled in that course and branch, plus the tutor assigned to teach it.
Yes. Attach as many subjects as the course teaches. Each one gives students access to its own materials and resources inside the same classroom.
Not quite. The weekly schedule sets when the classroom meets. The recurring pattern for a live batch (daily, weekly, alternate weeks, custom weekdays or monthly) and session rescheduling are set on the batch, covered on the Run Live Batches Online page.
With an institute-issued class code tied to the classroom, the same way every time.
