The Academix connects to a set of external services that already run in the production backend — payment gateways, live class providers, a plagiarism checker, and the tools that send email and push notifications. Here’s what’s actually wired in, grouped by what it does.
Payments
Two gateways are wired into the backend, covering course checkout and recurring billing.
Razorpay
Powers course purchase checkout through payment links, with webhook-confirmed payments, callback verification, and a downloadable receipt for every paid order.
Stripe
Handles recurring subscription billing — prorated plan changes, coupon codes, and tax-calculated invoicing on each billing cycle.
Live Classes
Each live class is scheduled on Google Meet or on your own BigBlueButton server; you choose when you create the class.
Content & Assessment
Copyleaks
Plagiarism detection for submitted assignments. Files are sent to Copyleaks for scanning — including OCR on scanned documents — and a downloadable originality report is generated once the scan completes.
Communication
Two services handle messaging and delivery behind the scenes.
Brevo
Sends transactional email through Brevo's API — account and platform notifications, plus the emails behind this website's own contact and demo forms.
Firebase
Delivers real-time notifications for chat messages, live class activity, and classroom updates as students and staff use the platform.
