Academix Rewards & Gamification
Motivate Learners With a Points-Based Reward System
The Academix rewards students with points for lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance and practice, mock and real assessments. Students watch their total grow, and your institute decides how much each kind of work is worth.

A points-based reward system matters most for two kinds of cohorts: younger students who respond better to a steadily growing number than to grades that only land at term end, and students in longer courses who need something to track between the big exams. The Academix keeps it simple: points, not badges or levels, earned automatically for lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance and practice, mock and real assessments, with the running total visible to the student.
How much any one module is worth isn't fixed. An administrator sets the institute's total points and the percentage per module, totalling 100%. The split can be changed per classroom from the institute panel, so a test-driven batch can weight assessments heavier, while a class built around habits can lean toward attendance and assignments.
None of it is mandatory. The reward system is switched on or off for the institute as a whole. Students see a running point display that breaks down where each portion came from, which matters more the longer a course runs.
Module-Weighted Point Allocation
An administrator sets the institute's total reward points and the percentage each module gets, totalling 100%. The split can be changed for an individual classroom from the institute panel.
Activity-Based Point Accumulation
Students earn points automatically as they work through lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance and practice, mock and real assessments, calculated in proportion to how much of each module they complete.
Transparent Reward Tracking
A point display shows students their total and how it was earned across each module. The reward system is switched on or off for the whole institute.
How the Reward Point System Works
Administrators Set the Points Pool and Module Weights
An admin sets the total reward points for the institute, then the percentage each module gets (lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance and each kind of assessment), totalling 100%.
Change the Split for One Classroom
From the institute panel, the percentage split can be set for an individual classroom instead of inheriting the institute's default.
Points Accumulate Automatically as Students Work
As students work through lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance and practice, mock and real assessments, points are calculated in proportion to each module's completion and build up as they go.
Switch It On or Off for the Institute
The reward system is switched on or off for the whole institute in the institute panel's preferences.
Where a Points-Based Reward System Helps Most
K-12 Schools
Younger students often respond better to a visible, growing point total than to grades that arrive at the end of a term, and attendance or assignments can be weighted higher at this age.
JEE Coaching Institutes
Multi-year exam prep runs well past the excitement of enrolling. Points building module by module give students something to track class over class, not just two or three big tests a year.
Schools & Colleges
Institutes running many classrooms across different subjects and grades benefit from setting module weighting per classroom, rather than one static split being forced across every classroom.
How Can We Help You?
Lectures, study material, podcasts, assignments, attendance, and practice, mock and real assessments. Points build automatically as students complete each module, in proportion to how much they complete.
Not necessarily. An administrator sets an institute-wide pool of points and a default percentage split across modules, and the split can be changed for an individual classroom from the institute panel, so weighting can vary from one class to another.
There is no built-in redemption catalogue or prize system. If you want points to translate into a tangible reward, your institute runs that policy itself.
Yes. The reward system is switched on or off for the whole institute. Individual classrooms can have their own percentage split, but not their own on/off switch.
In proportion to how much of that module a student has completed, within the percentage share set for it, institute-wide or for that classroom. A module weighted more heavily contributes more to the total.
